Your main responsibilities as a credit controller will be:•Actively involved in the collection of receivables / payment applications, monitoring the cash allocationprocess, updating and maintaining the customer files• Follow up on disputed invoices and resolve issues, in order to unlock payment• Escalate issues that go beyond their limits to relevant departments and direct superiors• Establish and review customer credit limits, obtaining necessary approvals as per company policy• Collaborate with the credit insurance provider to manage credit risks effectively• Assess and release pending orders, blocking clients when necessary to mitigate financial risk• Monitor new orders daily, evaluate customer credit status, and provide delivery approvals to the CustomerService and Sales teams• Negotiate and implement structured payment plans with customers to settle outstanding amounts• Prepare and analyze DSO and Customer Aging Reports on a weekly and monthly basis• Conduct month-end closing activities, preparing reports on default customer balances and analyzing variancesfrom set objectives.• Provide forecasts and predictive analysis related to credit control• Perform monthly reconciliations of customer account balances, send account statements, and resolvediscrepancies• Work closely with the Head of Finance to assess customer files, particularly for cases involving insolvency orbankruptcy, initiating legal recovery actions where necessary• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the management team

To be an ideal candidate for this role you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field• 3+ years of experience in credit control, preferably within the FMCG industry• Experience with SAP is an advantage• Fluent in English and Greek (both written and spoken)• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

3+ years of experience in credit control, preferably within the FMCG industry
