key responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Support troubleshooting and repair tasks for electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC.
- Assist in the installation and upgrade of electrical systems, including energy-efficient technologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with facility managers, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate electrical work on larger maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and system performance.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Participate in facility projects, renovations, or expansions involving electrical work.
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Engineer position should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project)
- Certificate of professional competence.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and familiarity with Greek electrical codes and safety standards.
- Proficient oral and written command of the English language.
skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
- Interest in energy management and efficiency is a plus.
experience
- Up to 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in facility or building
