key responsibilities
What will you do as an Embedded Software Engineer?
- Design and develop embedded software for IoT products from scratch or extend existing codebases.
- Work with RTOS application structures, microcontroller peripherals, and various communication protocols.
- Develop and enhance communication modules (LoraWAN, WiFi, Bluetooth LE, GSM, GPS) and manage device configurations.
- Engage in web development tasks, creating content for embedded web servers.
- Conduct testing and validation of software and hardware, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
- Document code, prepare test reports, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
qualifications
What you need to have as an Embedded Software Engineer?
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, RTOS, and experience with embedded web servers.
- Familiarity with Microchip family microcontrollers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, TCP/IP, SNMP, MQTT).
- Experience in testing and debugging embedded systems.
- Skills in desktop development (C#) and web development for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React.js, Svelte) and hardware design.
- Linux and Git experience is advantageous.
