key responsibilities
As a Field Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell product and services
- Analyze and understand market insights and the customer buying behavior
- Create sales plans according to business division strategy and targets
- Focus on customer needs, understanding and delivery of the products and services.
- Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customers’ needs
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish daily work
- Maintains attention to detail in completing work tasks
- Works independently, guides oneself with little or no supervision
- Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others with the ability to convey information effectively
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position of a Field Sales Engineer will be expected to possess the following:
- University degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
- Knowledge of the construction sector
- Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, AutoCAD)
- Ability to travel

experience
At least 2-3 years of working experience in a relevant role
