key responsibilities
As an IT Support Engineer your duties will be the following:
- Serve as the first-level contact point for IT issues through the corporate service desk ticketing system.
- Provide high-quality remote and local user support, troubleshooting issues efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor and resolve user requests in a timely manner, maintaining a high standard of user experience.
- Take full ownership of cases, ensuring resolution or escalating to appropriate levels as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and optimize support strategies.
qualifications
In order for your profile to match this IT Support Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- High-level troubleshooting skills for Microsoft software (Windows, Office).
- Proficiency in resolving issues related to PC peripherals and mobile devices.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in other Microsoft software, such as Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, or SQL.
- Familiarity with VMware products (ESXi, Horizon, Workspace).
- Experience in SAP.
