As a Junior custody operations specialist you will:

• Manage the settlement of domestic and international securities transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile custody accounts and ensure accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Process corporate actions and income events in accordance with market deadlines and client instructions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Client Services, Risk, Compliance) and external parties (CSDs, custodians, brokers).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and market standards (e.g., T2S, CSDR, EMIR).
• Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, fails, and exception items.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of custody operations processes.
• Support client onboarding and respond to service inquiries or escalations.

To be an ideal candidate for the junior custody operations specialist position, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in custody operations, asset servicing, or securities back office.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives).
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, settlement systems, and CSDs (e.g., Euroclear, Clearstream).
• High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with custody platforms (e.g., T2S, CREST, Clearstream).
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
