key responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Legal associate role include:
- Assisting in the acquisition and disposal of properties of various types
- Drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements
- Conducting due diligence on ownership titles, certificates, and land registry and cadastral books
- Drafting and negotiating lease agreements and commercial cooperation agreements
- Advising on compliance with planning and zoning legislation
- Handling real estate-related litigation and any applications or actions before the cadastral offices
- Assisting in real estate finance and securitization, leasing, and sale-and-lease-back schemes
- Participating in M&A transactions involving real estate assets
- Advising on the establishment of special purpose vehicles and joint ventures for real estate projects
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Legal associate position should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; LL.M. or other advanced legal qualifications on property law are preferred
- Admission to the Greek Bar
- Proven experience in handling complex Real Estate transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong client management skills with a commercial mindset
