key responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Participate in conceptual design analysis procedures.
- Conduct detailed engineering studies of technical solutions and collaborate with the team for evaluation.
- Design mechanisms and structures for robotic arm systems and peripheral equipment using CAD and simulation tools.
- Perform detailed reviews of supplier offers derived from pre-study analysis.
- Generate design documentation, including mechanical drawings, BOMs, and assembly & test procedures.
- Assist with safety risk assessments for robot cells to ensure compliance with standards.
- Support manufacturing companies during the implementation phase.
- Participate in design review meetings with electrical, automation, and assembly teams.
- Support the production department during various implementation phases (assembly, testing, FAT, SAT).
- Conduct on-site visits to customer premises during project assignments or SAT.
- Participate in continuous improvement actions and projects within the Engineering department.
- Work closely with the production department to gather feedback on project updates and participate in project assessment procedures.
qualifications
For the Mechanical Design Engineer position you should ideally demonstrate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Experience with pneumatic system design and validation of mechanisms.
- Ability to understand mechanical processes and identify improvements.
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD & Inventor).
- Skilled in using MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of the English language.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical thinking for problem-solving.

- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
