As a Presales Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the sales team, participating in client meetings as a technical expert
• Identify and analyze client requirements, translating them into detailed technical and operational specifications
• Design customized solutions based on customer needs
• Develop comprehensive proposals and scopes of work, clearly outlining solutions and tasks for successful project delivery
• Prepare bills of material (BOM) and analyze required manpower in cooperation with the Service Delivery Manager
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients
• Demonstrate products and third-party solutions effectively
• Maintain up-to-date technical and industry knowledge through ongoing training, seminars, and certifications

What do you need to have as a Presales Engineer?

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in server/system knowledge including hardware, licensing, virtualization, storage solutions, and system integration within an enterprise environment
• Networking skills with expertise in LAN, switching, and Wi-Fi technologies; CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• Knowledgeable in cybersecurity, specifically firewall technologies
• Experience in evaluating client needs and converting them into precise technical specifications and solutions
• Experience to convey the value of solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in technical writing, capable of developing detailed proposals and scopes of work
• Cloud certification in platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred

• Fluency in both English and Greek
