The responsibilities of this senior accountant role include:

• Perform accurate entries in both Tax and IFRS accounting, maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with Greek Tax Legislation, including VAT returns, withholding taxes and Income Tax filings.
• Support monthly, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Actively participate in the preparation of the audit process.
• Ensure proper documentation of Inventory records
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

To be a good fit for this senior accountant position you should  have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Proven 5+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
• Advance knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and relevant legislation.
• An A-class accountant license is not a prerequisite but is considered a plus.
• Very Good Knowledge of MyData.
• Hands-on experience with SoftOne ERP.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent command of both English and Greek languages.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Effective time management and accuracy in meeting deadlines.
