As a Software Engineer - Team Leadyour responsibilities will be the following:

• Lead & mentor a software development team, ensuring high-quality code and best practices
• Actively contribute to coding efforts with a focus on Java, Quarkus, microservices, and cloud technologies
• Take full ownership of the Payments Platforms' architecture, scalability, security & performance
• Recruit and build a high-caliber development team from scratch
• Oversee the design & development of high-performance distributed systems
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions
• Stay ahead of technology trends and integrate innovative solutions

As a Software Engineer - Team Lead you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java, Quarkus, reactive programming, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic
• Experience in payment processing systems & financial transactions
• Practical knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Authentication & Authorization
• Familiarity with Kubernetes & cloud platforms (Azure is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with REST, gRPC & microservices architecture
• Previous experience in team management/leading is going to be advantageous.

• Proven experience in fintech/banking.
