Key accountabilities as Tax Accountant:

• Maintain accounting postings, including incoming invoices, expenses and banktransactions in accordance with Greek Tax Law & Greek Accounting GAAPs
• Implement tax & accounting reconciliations.
• Responsible for proper implementation of MyData (E-books) requirements
• Responsible for timely clearing of vendors and General Ledger open items
• Ensure proper cost accounting.
• Assist in monthly and annual tax statements (VAT, withholding taxes, VIES,Intrastat) in accordance with Greek Tax Law
• Prepare periodic management reports.
• Cooperate and communicate with company’s auditors (Internal Audit, ExternalAudit, Tax Audit)
• Participate in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and otherfinancial statements.

The ideal candidate for the position of Tax Accountant will be expected to have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics or finance
• 2 years’ experience in accounting
• Excellent computer skills
• SAP knowledge
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge in bookkeeping and financial transactions
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High motivation
• professionalism

2-4 years of experience in a similar position
