As a treasurer in this company your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure efficient day-to-day treasury operations and more specifically Cash Management, FX dealing, Cash forecasting and Treasury Projects.
• Lead digital financial projects, including the implementation of automated bank payments through ERP systems
• Optimization of banking applications to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions
• Working closely with the business to minimize financial risk.
• Reporting of all treasury activities to senior management
• Analyze and perform appropriate hedging and funding activities.
• Cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting
• Manage treasury operations and control around payments processing.
• Maintain relationships with lenders ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
• Manage banking relationships, ensuring banking procedures are adhered to.
• Driving treasury specific projects/initiatives across the company
• Creation and collation of information and results for the SMT
• Supporting the FC in interpreting the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow implications on the performance of the business, and of processes and controls

To be an ideal candidate for the treasurer position, you should have:

• Degree in Finance, Economics or similar area
• Prior experience in a similar role within Treasury
• Familiarity with online banking platforms, payment gateways, and fintech solutions.
• Understanding of payment automation, direct bank integrations (APIs, SWIFT, SEPA), and cash reconciliation processes.
• Strong ability to liaise with banks, software vendors, internal finance, and IT teams.
• Strong experience in managing a treasury function as well as experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cash flow and various financial instruments
• Experience of managing multi-site or multiple bank accounts, and cash flow
• Excellent organization and time management skills, team-player, strong communication skills
• Fluency in Greek and English language
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Genuine interest in the energy sector

• 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
