Your responsibilities as an accountant will include:

• Participate in the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• Participate in the reporting of financial statements under both local GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Interact at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close.
• Bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Participate in the issuance of sales invoices and monitor projects’ revenues.
• Participate in the invoices & payments approval process.
• Submitting data to the My Data system in accordance with AADE regulations
• Participation in VAT calculation
• Maintenance of C category bookkeeping

To be a good fit in this accountant role you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP software (SoftOne).
• Previous experience in a Real Estate Firm or a Construction Company will be considered an asset.
• Good communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle tight deadlines and highly adaptable to changes in a dynamic environment.
