As the accounting manager in this company your responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of the Greek Tax legislation and fulfillment of legal obligations arising from it
• Responsibility for General ledger, Balance sheet and Profit & Loss statement, ensuring that the Greek & Corporate Accounting standards are maintained
• Main contact for Tax and statutory auditors
• Contract management and submission to the tax authorities.
• Leading & Involvement in related projects (i.e. MyData)
• Monitor and ensure submission of tax returns on a monthly and annual basis (VAT, withholding taxes, subcontractor taxes, real estate & property tax, interest tax, etc.)
• Preparation & submission of income tax return
• Supervise the bookkeeping process (analytical accounting, fixed asset register, debtors & creditors), the issuance of invoices and delivery notes, ensuring entries are reconciled and properly recorded.
• Contribute to the development of new or review and recommend modifications to accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Transfer Pricing file documentation
• Contribute to the efficient set up of the Finance & Accounting department considering cooperation with Service Centres
• Maintain related Internal controls

The ideal candidate for the accounting manager position, should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance
• A’ class signatory rights
• Very good working knowledge of tax laws and Greek accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills both in Greek and English (verbal or written)
• Excellent computer skills (MS-Office  Microsoft Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems
• 5+ years of related experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive approach, organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
