As an Application Developer you will:

• Translate system requirements into comprehensive design and development solutions.
• Collaborate directly with the Front & Middle Office and other functions to gather project requirements.
• Actively participate in issue resolution, handling incidents, service requests, etc.
• Work proficiently in a development environment, utilizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Write robust code and develop accompanying test suites following sound software design principles.
• Engage in multiple testing phases to ensure the quality of the solutions.
• Manage the entire life cycle of projects, assessing the alignment of delivered solutions with requirements and business needs.
• Coordinate effectively with other teams in Technology to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

As an Application Developer will must have: 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, C++, C#, .NET for software development.
• Experience in REST API & Services development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Oracle and Microsoft SQL for database management.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Design, Development & Sizing projects, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Insurance industry.
• Understanding of software development life cycle, delivery process, and source control management tools such as Jira and Git.
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a global team environment.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to quickly comprehend existing software architectures and functionalities.
