Main Activities of the assistant accountant:

• Receipt and verification of post-dated and same-day client checks
• Processing and preparation of client checks for bank deposits.
• Letters to banks for repurchase, stamping, or return of checks according to the writteninstructions of the activity centers and factories.
• Sending checks (stamped or replaced) with accompanying service notes to therespective activity centers.
• Sending memos for accounting entries related to extensions, replacements, andstamping checks.
• Monitoring, inventory, and monthly reconciliation of portfolio accounts.
• Annual and semi-annual inventory of the portfolio and reconciliation with externalaudit.
• Treasurer's duties.
• Perform other required accounting tasks.

Main qualifications of the assistant accountant:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• A master’s degree in economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an ACCA certification,will be considered an additional asset
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar position in the financial sector of a large companyor in an Audit or Consulting Services company
• Knowledge of Financial Accounting, IFRS and of Greek Accounting Standards will beconsidered an asset
• Experience with SAP will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Fluency in both Greek and English (oral and written)
• Military Service fulfilled
