As a finance director you will:

• Ensure efficient, accurate, consistent, and timely production of Financial Statements, Management
• Accounts, statutory and tax accounts and other financial accounts for all subsidiaries and at group level
• Review internal processes and optimise for efficiency, including Transfer pricing
• Review internal processes and optimise for efficiency
• Ensure recently and under implementation financial systems (SAP Business One and others) are fully utilised for maximum process efficiency
• Effectively manage finance team with clear role descriptions and timetable for deliverables
• Ensure operating procedures are documented and standardised
• Ensure effectiveness of Accounts Receivable / Payable process
• Oversee the compliance of local legal entities
• Oversee effective external audit process8
• Understand data, ability to translate data to Board and to the right channels at all times
• Ensure reporting data is translated into meaningful Management Information in an efficient and timely manner
• Provide management, the Board and the Family Office with insightful data on key financial as well as non-financial performance data (asset performance, meaningfully granular financial KPIs)
• Help improve Cash Flow monitoring, forecasting and optimisation
• Summarise opportunity points for business/performance improvement and liaise with business team for further implementation
• Help improve the company’s treasury capabilities of effectively managing and forecasting cash requirements
• Help improve Cash Flow monitoring, forecasting and optimisation, including project related financing activities

The ideal candidate for the role of finance director should be:

• Experienced team leader, able to quickly set standards and manage deliverables
• Expertise in the production of statutory accounts and annual reports
• Strong track record in financial controlling and process improvement
• Hands-on approach
• Confident, with strong executive presence
• Confident communicator of financial results
