The responsibilities of the Logistics Manager include:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the overall business objectives
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify and implement improvements in efficiency and cost savings
- Work closely with procurement, planning, customer services, production and warehousing, distribution and direct sales reps,to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to ensure that storage, handling and order fulfillment processes support the overall logistics strategy
- Develop & manage budgets for transportation, storage, and distribution
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining service quality
- Track key performance indicators such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory turnover
- Leverage Logistics software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline operations
- Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends, forecast issues and drive continuous improvement
- Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions, such as supply chain delays, transportation issues, or regulatory changes
- Implement procedures that ensure the safe handling and transport of goods
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, and third party logistics providers
- Close communication with Customer Service, Planning and Sales Teams
- Lead , Mentor, and develop the logistic team fostering a culture of continuous improvement
προσόντα
The ideal candidate should have:
- University degree in Business Administration or related field
- MSc in Supply Chain would be an Assent
- Fluent in usage of WMS, ERP, SAP & other similar softwares

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

- 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
