As a Sales & Category Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance brand presence in the market through the distributor.
• Analyze & monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including in-store promotions, product launches, in collaboration with the distributor.
• Ensure effective execution of promotional activities at the point of sale through the distributor's network.
• Monitor & evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.
• Provide the distributor with the necessary tools and materials to support their sales efforts, including promotional materials, product information, and training.
• Manage marketing budget (A&P), ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
• Track and report on budget expenditures and campaign performance.
• Work closely with the internal/cluster marketing team to ensure alignment of sales & marketing activities with overall brand strategy.
• Maintain strong relationships with the distributor and other key stakeholders.
• Positive team management & team development.
• Analyze sales data to measure the impact of trade marketing activities.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance & category insights, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

 As a Sales & Category Manager you should have: 

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales & category management strategies.
• Experience in managing a team, with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the distributor.
• Hand-on experience with consumer facing marketing campaigns
• Familiar with market data (IRI/Nielsen)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Spoken & written English & Greek.

• 5-8 years of experience in sales and category management, within the FMCG sector.
